The many masks of separatists

Separatists headed by Rebiya Kadeer have identified themselves as “peace-loving human rights defenders”, despite their recent instigation of the July 5 Xinjiang riots, the violent attacks on the Chinese embassies in Holland and Germany, and the so-called “jihad” to take revenge on the Chinese government.

Some may still recall Kadeer’s words, “As a native of Xinjiang, I make my business to contribute to my country. I’ll always be faithful to and never depart from my motherland. We should be very cautious not to be fooled by evil separatists who intend to undermine the stability of our country and the happiness of the human race.

"Violence is of no use in solving problems,” she continues. “Terrorism is not to be imposed upon Chinese diplomatic personnel or civilians in the name of the legal expectations of the Uygur.”

However, Kadeer herself seems to have a poor memory. After being imprisoned for eight years for providing intelligence and money for overseas organizations and personnel, she went abroad and became the president of the so-called World Uyghur Congress, making continuous provocation towards the Chinese government in the name of democracy and human rights.

After the July 5 riots, Kadeer alleged that mobile phones and the Internet were shielded in Xinjiang, where she was able to keep in touch with a “source” in Urumqi who informed her that “demonstrators were killed by police and some were crushed to death by an armored car.”

Deviating from the sacred words of honesty and justice in Hadith, the words and deeds of the prophet Muhammed, these separatists looted, rioted and misled the public in order to achieve their evil purpose.

Nevertheless, facts speak louder than lies. With further investigation into the affair, the lies are sure to be exposed and more people will be aware of the vicious nature of the separatists. Meanwhile, more effort is to be made to stop the support from overseas hostile forces to separatists such as Kadeer.
