Don't take officials' blogs too seriously

From July 2008 to now, over 60 officials from Jiangxi Province have started their own blogs on dealing with local problems.
Reporters' research, however, shows that some of these blogs have no original articles by these officials themselves and officials don't respond to netizens' questions, either.
Some officials haven't had new post on their blogs for half a year.
Officials' blogs can be an interactive platform for exchanging ideas and information with people and a way to help to solve their problems.
However, many officials just open their blogs to please their superiors.
It takes a lot of time to write posts and read netizens' messages, and requires generosity to put up with some netizens' extreme views.
Not many officials can achieve the two, so it's natural that officials' blogs become a formality.
An official can't promptly solve problems for ordinary people entirely on his own.
The solution is to perfect the government system and let every department and office fulfill their responsibilities.
It's more practical to make government websites fulfill their responsibilities than to hope officials' blogs can perform miracles.
